Welcome to Class 2
We have 25 children from Year 2 and Year 3 in Class 2, and they are taught by Miss Mitchell and Mrs Moon. You can see what they are studying this term (Spring 2023) from here.

In Class 2, we have been learning about Vikings in history. We used our detective skills to work together as a team and gather information about our new warriors. We have also linked our artwork to Vikings and have had a go at sketching Viking crests and Viking warriors. The children have created some beautiful sketches!
We have practised our weaving skills in our DT work and have learned about the terms ‘weft and warp’. We used a range of colours and made some beautiful weaves! We also made some Viking bread in DT using very basic ingredients! It received mixed reviews but we had lots of fun making it!
We practised our multiplication and division skills in maths and have applied these skills in many ways (in CCL)- one of the children’s favourite ways was creating multiplication towers with the Lego!
We have also worked on the software ‘paint’ and recreated pointillism artwork in the style of Georges Seurat.
