School Council

Our School Council is a group of children elected each year from every class in school, who meet regularly to discuss problems and ideas raised by all children.  This helps to improve the school, make it a better place for children and adults, and give all children an opportunity to express themselves.  Topics discussed at the meetings have included after-school clubs, behaviour, outdoor equipment, school dinners and raising money for charity.

The School Council have met and named themselves ACV (All Children’s Voices).  They have looked at the Scape Code and amended it for 2018:

Sensible – respect, listen
Creative – use imagination
Actions – kind, helpful
Please – always use manners
Enthusiastic – try hard in your work

Caring – treat people the same
Open hearted – make people feel welcome
Decisions – make good choices
Expressive – share ideas
