What is inclusion and diversity in schools?
Providing inclusive learning opportunities means we recognises all our children’s entitlement to a learning experience that respects diversity, enables participation, removes barriers and anticipates and considers a variety of learning needs and preferences.
Each child is unique, we celebrate this uniqueness as our differences make us who we are.
Assembly time is a great way to share our experiences, beliefs and abilities.
We have a designated Federation Diversity Lead, Mrs Beckwith, who makes sure the whole of our curriculum reflects not only the diversity in school and the local community but that of the wider world. Each lessons is planned with inclusion and diversity in mind, using a wide range of role models to inspire and promote respect for everyone.
